"The year one thousand seven hundred sixty and ten [1770], the
tenth of July. After the publication
of banns on three Sundays succes-
sively in the church of Veckersviller and
that of Weyer, and with my having obtained
the certificate of Monsignor Michel Pontry, head
priest of said Weyer, without opposition, and after
celebrating the engagement the same day,
and after obtaining the consent
of both to the marriage, it is solemnized in
front of the congregation and receiving the blessing of
marriage were Jacob Schwartz, widower of the
late Anne Marie Untereiner, laborer
and resident of this place, and Anne Elizabe[th]
Bircker, daughter legitimately of Philip Bircke[r]
and of Eve Catherine Regal, laborer and resid[ent]
of Sieviller, with the consent of her father
and mother, by me, the head priest of said Vec-
kersviller. Done in the presence of said
Philip Bircker, and of Johannes Georg Regall,
glass maker of Weyer parish,
and of Jacob Untereiner, blacksmith
of said Veckersviller, and of Johannes Niclaus
Sisson, laborer and resident of this place,
who all signed and marked this document
in my presence"
