"Maria Anna Laubacher
Town hall of Eschberg and Kraufthal, District of Zabern (Saverne)
on the seventh day of Thermidor, year eleven of the French
Republic. Maria Anna Laubacher was born.
She was born in Kraufthal (Graufthal), the sixth Thermidor, in the morning
in the eigth hour. Daughter of Frantz Joseph Laubacher, resident and
carpenter by trade in Graufthal, and Maria Anna
Untereiner who are married. The sex of the baby is female. First witness, Jacob
Burg, eight and forty years old, resident and linen weaver by
trade, of Graufthal. Second witness, Peter Wallherr,
eight and forty years old, schoolmaster of Graufthal, who is
not married. Both witnesses are unrelated. All came before the
officials, identified the father Frantz
Joseph Laubacher, and have signed below. I, Bartzel J Sten, made it legitimate
and offical, here at Eschberg and
Graufthal, Saverne District, Lower Rhine Department, in the
official town register. Done at the
town hall of Graufthal, on the above day, month and year." |

living in Veckersviller, aged four score and five [85]
years. The corpse was buried in the cemetery of this parish
on the twenty-ninth of this month in the presence of Jean Guillaum,
carter in Veckersviller, son of the deceased, and of Jean Nicolas
