Said to have married 2nd: Elinor Mayhew, daughter of Richard and Isabel Mayhew. Children in this family are NOT DOCUMENTED. USE THIS RECORD AS A GUIDE ONLY. Children given here are proposed by several genealogists. All do not agree. Some are: Fleetwood Jones, William M. Hunt (Fairport, N.Y.), Clara Hunt Miller, Cathering Gheesling (who gives only three: Nathaniel (who married a Wade), Memucan and Sarah. 5. Joseph Hunt was born 17 Sep 1701, York Co., Virginia; died Abt 1750, Halifax Co., Virginia.
6. Mary Hunt was born Abt 1702, York Co., Virginia; died 5 Nov 1718.
7. James Hunt was born 27 Feb 1703/04, Hanover Co., Virginia; died 1795, Charlotte Co., Virginia.

From Gheesling: "Ralph Hunt, age 22 transported from London to Virginia on the PRIMROSE, by certificate from Min. of Gravesend, 27 July 1635." Is called "Brother" in the will of John (see RIN #3558). 'A' Ralph Hunt was listed as a 'transportee' by 1636. A 'Radulph Hunt' got a patent of 300 acres in Warwick Co. in 1645. and RALPH HUNT was a constable in York Co. in 1657, and in records there through 1661. He died 19 Dec. 1675 New Pasquoson Parish (changed to Charles Parish in 1692). (Was he in Warwick Col 1636 to 1656/7?) His Inventory was in New Pasquoson in 1676."

Ralph married Elinor Bef 1656. died 26 Oct 1671. [Group Sheet]
