Untereiner, Johann Jacob - Death and Burial - Veckersviller, Moselle, France, 1766

"L'an mil sept cent soixante six le trente et un d'Octobre
aprés deux heur du matin est decedé à Weckersviller
munie des sacrements de l'eglise Jean Jaque Untereiner
maneuvre et habitant du dit lieu agé de soixante et
dix ans lequel à èté enterré le landemain au cemetier
du dit lieu avec les ceremonies accoutremées par nous
pretre curé du dit lieu sousigné en presence des
Jean Untereiner maneuvre et habitant du dit
lieu, et de Jean Michel Titsch maneuvre et habitant
du dit lieu, qui ont signés l'acte present avec nous :/:

"The year one thous. seven hundred sixty-six, the thirty-first of October,
after the second hour of the morning, died in Veckersviller
fortified by the sacraments of the church, Johann Jacob Untereiner,
laborer and resident of said place, aged three score and
ten [seventy] years. The body was interred the following day in the cemetery
of said place with the accompanying ceremonies by me,
the head priest of said place, undersigned, in the presence of
Johann Untereiner, laborer and resident of said
place, and of Johann Michel Teutsch, laborer and resident
of said place, who signed this document in my presence"
