"1736, 7th Feb. Having in fact made the required proclamations of
the future matrimony between the adolescents Laurent
Untereiner and Christine Pfeiffer and obtained
of the Holy Apostolic See a dispensation for the second
degree of affinity [note: indicates the couple were second cousins], without detecting any other impediments,
with the blessing of the nuptials by the godparents in the church
at Veckersviller, on 8th July 1736 in Schalbach
I, Father Calhoven, commissioned it in the Lord, in the presence of
the witnesses who are undersigned.
