"The year one thous. seven hun. four score and eight, the sixth of month
December, at eight hours of the morning has died with
the sacraments of the church Christine Teutsch, aged
sixty-four years, woman of Martin Vallet,
laborer of Veckersviller. Her corpse was buried
in the ground of the cemetery of this parish
in the presence of her husband and of Jean Metzger,
blacksmith, of Veckersviller, who both
signed before me"
