Peiffer, Christine - Death - Veckersviller, Moselle, France, 1777

"L'an mille sept cent soixante et dix-sept le dix huit de Mars à sept heur
du matin est decedée a Weckersviller munie des Sacraments de l'eglise Christine
Peiffer de son vivant epousse du defunct Lorrent Untereiner laboureur et
habitant du dit lieu agée de soixante et huit ans laquelle à èté enterrè le
landemain au cemetièr du dit lieu avec les ceremonies accoutremmées par nous
pretre curè du dit liue soussigné en presence de Nicolas Sisson cordonnier
laboureur et habitant du dit lieu, et fille de la defuncta, et de Mathias
Lehman laboureur et habitant du dit lieu et gendre de la defuncte, grie-
ont signes l'acte present avec nous.

"The year one thousand seven hundred sixty and seventeen, the eighteenth of March at the seventh hour of morning
died in Veckersviller with all the sacraments of the church Christine
Pfeiffer, who in life was the spouse of the late Laurent Untereiner, laborer and
resident of this place, aged sixty and eight years. The body was interred in
the cemetery of this place with the accompanying ceremonies performed
by the priest of this place, done in the presence of Nicolas Sisson, shoemaker
and resident of this place, and son of the deceased woman, and of Mathias
Lehman, laborer and resident of this place and son-in-law of the deceased woman, they
signed this document below in my presence."
