"Having made publication of three banns over
three consecutive Sundays in solemn patience and
having ceremony in the form of the sacred Counsel of Trent,
Pierre François Richardez, laborer, and Jeanne Françoise
Lab, both of Anteuil, have contracted marriage on the twenty-
fifth of the month of January, [one] thousand seven hundred eighty-five,
and they received the nuptial blessing from the priest undersigned
in the presence of Jean Baptiste Sauvarey and of Pierre
Joseph Lab and of Gerard Richardez and of Jean Pierre
Richardez and of Étienne Beudez, who all signed except
the bride and groom [who are] illiterate"
