"L'an dix huit cent vingt quatre le vingt deux octobre, par devant
nous jean claude perrey, maire, officier de Létat civil de la commune d'anteuil
département du doubs, canton de clerval, sont comparu pierre étienne Lab
et pierre joseph Richard. Lesquels nous ont dèclare le premier enqualité de
pére et le second en celle de voisin et ami, que le présent jour vingt deux
octobre a trois heure du matin, Marie Claude Lab, agée de quatorze mois
est dècéldé le vingt deux octobre huere de trois du matin au domicile de son
dit pére aud anteuil, et les dèclarans ont signé avec nous le présent acte
aprés que Lecture Leur en a été faite.

"Year eighteen hundred twenty-four the twenty-second October came before
us Jean Claude Perrey mayor, civil registrar of the commune of Anteuil,
department of Doubs, canton of Clerval, appeared Pierre Étienne Lab
and Pierre Joseph Richard. They declared themselves to me firstly as
the father and the second the neighbor; that today, twenty-second
October at third hour of the morning, Marie Claude Lab, aged fourteen months
has died the twenty-second October hour of three in the morning at home of the said
father in Anteuil, and the declarers have signed with me this death record
after it was read to them."
