"L'an dix huit cent vingt un le Deux Mars a deux heurer
aprés midi par devant nous Pierre François Richardey maire
et officier de Létat civil dela Commune d'anteuil, Canton de clerval département
du doubs, est comparu Pierre Étienne Lab, agée de vingt quatre ans cultivateur
domicilié en cette Commune Lequel nous a presenté un enfant de sexe masculin
né le present jour a dix heures du matin de lui dèclarant et de Françoise
Morfaut son épouse auquel il a dèclarée vouloir donner les prénoms de Claude
Auguste Lesditts dèclarations et presentations faites enpresence de Jacque Claude
Rougeot vieux agée de soixante sept ans, et de Jean Claude Perrey agée de
quarante trois ans, les deux cultivateur domicilié en cette Commune, et ont
les dêlarant et témoins signé avec nous le present acte de naissance aprés
quil Leur en a été fait lecture.

"Year eighteen hundred twenty-one, the second March at tenth hour
after noon before me, Pierre François Richardey, mayor
and civil registrar of the commune of Anteuil, canton of Clerval, department
of Doubs, has appeared Pierre Etienne Lab, age of twenty four years, farmer
living in this commune. He presented to us an infant of masculine sex,
born the present day at ten hours of morning, declaring himself and Françoise
Morfaut, his spouse, and he declares the desire to give the forenames of Claude
August. The said declarations and presentations made in the presence of Jean Claude
Rougeot elder aged sixty-seven years, and of Jean Claude Perrey age of
forty-three years, the two farmers living in this commune. The
declarer and witnesses signed with us this birth certificate after
it has been read to them"
