"L'an dix huit cent vingt trois le six Septembre a huite
heure du matin pardevant nous Jen Claude Perrey maire officier
de Létat civil de la Commune d'Anteuil, Canton de Clerval,
département du Doubs. est comparu Pierre Etienne Lab, agée de
vingt six ans, Cultivateur demeurant à Anteuil. Lequel nous a prèsenté un
enfant du sexe féminin née le present jour a deux heure du matin de lieu dèclarant
et de Françoise Morfaux son épouse, et auquel il a déclaré vouloir donner les
prènom de Marie Margueritte. Lesdites dèclarations et presentations faites enpresence
de Jean Claude Verquory agée de vingt cinq ans, et de Pierre Joseph Richard agée
de vingt sept ans les deux cultivateur domicilié cette commune et ont les
pére et témoin signé avec nous le present acte de naissance aprés quil leur en
a èté fait lecture.

"Year eighteen hundred twenty-three the sixth September at eighth
hour of the morning before us, Jean Claude Perrey mayor, officer
of the civil state of the commune of Anteuil, canton of Clerval,
department of Doubs, came before us Pierre Etienne Lab, aged
twenty-six years, farmer, living in Anteuil. He presented to us
an infant of the female sex, born this day at the second hour of the morning of the same declarer
and [born] of Françoise Morfaux, his spouse, and also he declares he has given the
forename of Marie Margueritte. This declaration and presentation occurs in the presence
of Jean Claude Verquory age of twenty-five years, and of Pierre Joseph Richard age
of twenty-seven years, the two farmers living in this commune and that the
father and witnesses signed with me this birth certificate that is read,
issued, and filed."
