Étienne Lab agé de trente an Cultivateur domicilié à Anteuil lequel nous a
prèsenté un enfant du sexe masculin né le jour d'hier a dix heure du soir de lieu
dèclarant et de Françoise Morfaux sou épouse, et auquel il a déclaré vouloir donnes
les prènom de Jean Aléxis lesdite dèclaration et presentation faites enpresence
de Jean Claude Verquory agé de vingt neuf an et de Claude François perrey agé
de vingt deux an le deux cultivateur domicilié à Anteuil et onts les pére et témoins
signé avec nous le présent acte de naissance aprés quile leurs en a èté fait lecture

2. Year eighteen hundred twenty-seven the twenty-fourth Feburary at eight hour of
morning before me, Jean Claude Perrey mayor, officer of the civil state of the
commune of Anteuil, canton of Clerval, department of Doubs, came Pierre
?tienne Lab, aged thirty, farmer, living in Anteuil, told us of
and presented an infant of the male sex, was born yesterday at the tenth hour of the evening, of the same
declarer and [born] of Fran?oise Morfaux, his spouse, and also he declares he has given
the forename of Jean Al?xis. This declaration and presentation occurs in the presence
of Jean Claude Verquory age of twenty-nine years and of Claude Fran?ois Perrey age
of twenty-two years, the two farmers living in Anteuil and that the father and witnesses
signed. This birth certificate is read, issued, and filed.
