"This date 17th April 1708. After publishing the banns for three consecutive Sundays
between Pierre Pfeiffer the first party, son of Jean Adam Pfeiffer and of Magdelaine Lehmann,
residents of Veckersviller, and Catharine Schirmann, daughter of Pierre Schirmann and of Anne
Ursule Nechveit the other [party], and there having been found no opposition, and having received from both
the promise to marry, and with the customary ceremonies the marriage is celebrated in
the church of the same place in the presence of François Gillet and of Laurens Frank, residents of the same
place, who signed the original."
