The godmother was Maria Eva Schmitt, daughter of the late Sebastian Schmitt and Catherina Fröschin who were married in Ermingen in the Molshemin(?) church. And in Benelburg ??? the magistrate made this official (?) because for the time being there is no admistrator living in Graufthal who knows these people well enough to swear this is all true; except the father signed (made his mark) before me below."
