"Dodivers, née Priene, wife of Jacques Dodivers, age
of thirty-eight years, all of Anteuil, department of Doubs.
The said Lab to me declared that Louise Dodivers, his
spouse in lawful marriage was delivered, the tenth of
the current (month), at nine hours, of a male infant in
their house, rue du Bas. As well, they have given him the
forenames of Pierre Etienne after having presented him to me,
this is certified to conform to the truth and the representation
made to me regarding the fact of the infant's name. I, by virtue
of the powers delegated to me, recorded this certificate
that said Lab, father of the infant, and the witnesses have
signed with me.

part Pierre Joseph Lab, aged thirty-eight years,
farmer, domiciled in the municipality of Anteuil,
department of Doubs, son of the late Nicolas Gerard
Lab, also laborer, and Anne Claude Vernier, his
spouse; on the other part Anne Louise Dodivers,
aged twenty-three years, daughter of Jean Claude

of the groom, the third, brother of the bride, and the
fourth, cousin. I, Pierre Etienne Dodivers
read aloud, in the presence of the parties, and of the
witnesses, from the record of birth of Pierre Joseph
Lab, which states he was born the ninteenth March (one) thousand
seven hundred fifty-six, Anteuil, same municipality,
same department, of the lawful marriage of the said Nicolas
Gerard Lab and Anne Claude Vernier and was named as such.
2nd, the record of birth of Anne Louise Dodivers,
born the twenty-first September (one) thousand seven hundred seventy-one, (NOTE: literally "sixty-eleven")
same municipality and same department, of the lawful
mariage between Jean Claude Dodivers and Servoire Manet.
Regarding the publication of the proposed marriage between
the future spouses, written by me, Pierre Etienne
Dodivers, written by me (sic.) the thirtieth frimaire, and affi(xed)
to the door of the town hall the same day
after which Pierre Joseph Lab and Anne Louise Dodivers
have declared in clear voices, their mutual intent
to marry, I pronounced, in the name of the law, that
Pierre Joseph Lab and Anne Louise Dodivers are united
in marriage, and I recorded this record that the
parties have signed with me except Anne Louise
Dodivers, who swore that she does not know how to write.
