Checked Wallenhorst baptisms 1743 to 1754 and found no additional children. (2021 Oct 4)

Johann Christoph's burial record indicates that he had been married 51 years at the time of his death, Maria Elizabeth's burial record indicates a 52-year marriage.

Maria Elizabeth's burial record indicates she was the mother of eight boys and one girl.

A Malgarten baptism dated 23 Jul 1747 is of Johann Heinrich Winners, son of Johann Christoph Nienporte and Anna Margaretha Winners. Despite the name disagreements he was probably a child of this family. (26 Oct 2021)

Generation: 3

  1. 4.  Stephan vor der Nienporten

    Notes:

Searched Wallenhorst baptisms 1658-1703, did not find. There is one very indistinct record of 1687 for a Stephan that might possibly be of a Nieporte but it is not possible to be sure. No other possible Nieporte baptisms were found. (2021 Oct 6)

    Name:
Surname sometimes given as "auf der Nienporte" or "von der Nieporte"; sometimes ending without an 'n' as "Nieporte" or "Nienporte."

Stephan married Anna Maria Feldtmöller bef. 7 Feb 1712. Anna (daughter of Amelinck Feldtmöller and Anna Margaret Niehuß) was christened 30 Jun 1689, Wallenhorst, Wallenhorst, Osnabrück, Lower Saxony, Germany; was buried 17 Aug 1717, Wallenhorst, Wallenhorst, Osnabrück, Lower Saxony, Germany. [Group Sheet]

  2. 5.  Anna Maria Feldtmöller was christened 30 Jun 1689, Wallenhorst, Wallenhorst, Osnabrück, Lower Saxony, Germany (daughter of Amelinck Feldtmöller and Anna Margaret Niehuß); was buried 17 Aug 1717, Wallenhorst, Wallenhorst, Osnabrück, Lower Saxony, Germany.

    Notes:

Her parents' names were recorded on the record but it has deteriorated too much to be sure of them. Father's name was perhaps Franz or Heinrich but more likely started with A (but is NOT Andreas, Alexander, or Albert); mother's name was possibly Anna Maria or Anna Margaret. There are a few other records referring to this couple, including their marriage in Wallenhorst in 1681 and at least two other baptisms, but none are legible enough to be sure of the names!

    Christened:
The date on the record is very indistinct.

    Buried:
Three different burial records appear 1716-1720 in Wallenhorst for women named "Anna Feldmuller" (spelling varies). The burial record cited here gives no middle name and is several months before Stephan vor der Nienporte remarries.

    Notes:

    Married:
Both children were baptized without being noted as illegitimate, therefore the parents were married at the time.

Wallenhorst parish records do not include any marriages between 22 Jul 1709 and 22 Sep 1715. Searched Wallenhorst marriages back to 1 Jan 1706 and did not find a record of a marriage for this couple.

    Children:
    1. Anna Maria an der Nienporte was christened 7 Feb 1712, Wallenhorst, Wallenhorst, Osnabrück, Lower Saxony, Germany.
    2. 2. Johann Christoph vor der Nienporte was christened 14 Oct 1714, Wallenhorst, Wallenhorst, Osnabrück, Lower Saxony, Germany; died 24 Nov 1793; was buried 26 Nov 1793, Malgarten, Bramsche, Osnabrück, Lower Saxony, Germany.

Generation: 4

  1. 10.  Amelinck Feldtmöller

    Notes:

At least two other Feldtmöller men had children baptized in Wallenhorst between 1685 and 1703. One was named Johann, he d. 1701, aged 31, but his baptism could not be found in Wallenhorst parish records. Another Johann Feltmühle was bur. in September 1701, aged 50.

A person named Ludeke Feldtmöller was buried in Wallenhorst in January, 1709, at age 70.

    Christened:
Not found in Wallenhorst parish baptisms 1658-1664; earlier records do not exist.

    Name:
First name is indistinct in most sources but certainly starts with 'A' in all of them and with 'Am' in all but one (baptism of Anna Maria is much more faded even than the others). The most clear record (baptism of son Johann Christoph) appears to read "Amelinck," and the baptism records of the two earlier daughters and son support a similar name of Ameling. The name appears to be completely unique.

Baptism of son Johann Christoph gives last name as "Feltmühle," a normal variation for this era that could appear due to dialect or accent of the recorder. We give the most common spelling from among the sources.

Amelinck married Anna Margaret Niehuß 6 May 1681, Wallenhorst, Wallenhorst, Osnabrück, Lower Saxony, Germany. Anna was buried 28 Apr 1716, Wallenhorst, Wallenhorst, Osnabrück, Lower Saxony, Germany. [Group Sheet]

  2. 11.  Anna Margaret Niehuß was buried 28 Apr 1716, Wallenhorst, Wallenhorst, Osnabrück, Lower Saxony, Germany.

    Notes:

Several Niehaus or Niehuß families appear in the Wallenhorst records; Anna Margaret was likely born before records began in 1658. A Catherina Maria Nyehauß was bap. 15 Feb 1661, daughter of Jost and Catherina.

    Christened:
Not found in Wallenhorst parish baptisms 1658-1664; earlier records do not exist.

    Name:
Most records (baptisms of her children) have "Anna Marg." as her given names or even "An. Marg." Only the marriage record and baptism of son Johann Christoph give her surname; the marriage record is quite indistinct.

    Buried:
Three different burial records appear 1716-1720 in Wallenhorst for women named "Anna Feldmuller" (spelling varies). The record cited here gives the name as Anna Margaretha Feldmuller; in Germany at this time it would have been more common to retain her maiden name, so there is room for doubt as to whether this is the correct record. However, of the three possible records, this is the only one with a middle name and it coincides.

    Notes:

No further children found through 1703 in Wallenhorst baptisms.

    Children:
    1. Catherina Margaret Feldtmöller was christened Feb 1682, Wallenhorst, Wallenhorst, Osnabrück, Lower Saxony, Germany; was buried 30 Mar 1727, Wallenhorst, Wallenhorst, Osnabrück, Lower Saxony, Germany.
    2. Regina Elisabeth Feldtmöller was christened 18 Mar 1687, Wallenhorst, Wallenhorst, Osnabrück, Lower Saxony, Germany.
    3. 5. Anna Maria Feldtmöller was christened 30 Jun 1689, Wallenhorst, Wallenhorst, Osnabrück, Lower Saxony, Germany; was buried 17 Aug 1717, Wallenhorst, Wallenhorst, Osnabrück, Lower Saxony, Germany.
    4. Gerhard Caspar Feldtmöller was christened 26 Jul 1692, Wallenhorst, Wallenhorst, Osnabrück, Lower Saxony, Germany.
    5. Johann Christoph Feldtmöller was christened 9 Nov 1693, Wallenhorst, Wallenhorst, Osnabrück, Lower Saxony, Germany.
