Salome Mer, the official rites occurring in the father's presence, was Anthony Laubacher son of Jacob Laubacher, day laborer in Graufthal, and Anna Maria Frick. They were married and live in this parish. The boy was born the same day, the same month and year, which the father swore to along with Peter Wallherr, schoolmaster in Graufthal. The godfather was Johannes Jacob Burg a printer in Graufthal, the godmother Catherina Wallet, widow of Egidius Schneider maker of bricks in Schœnburg, who came together and signed below, with help from me in making some of the signatures.
