13Feb 1750 Carteret Co, NC Wills. In the name of God Amen, I Enoch WARD, being very sick and weak of body but of perfect mind... I desire that all debts be paid by my wife Mary, and she to have half the household goods, and my Negroes and my stock during her lifetime, and then her part to my son Enoch at age 17. My daughters Anne, Martha, Mary, Elizabeth, Sarah, Abigail and Susannah to have the other half of my household goods.
