    Marie Herman

    Year one thousand seven hundred four score and one [1781], the twenty-eighth of August at
    [the] fourth hour of the morning, died having the Church sacrements,
    namely Penitence, Eucharist and Extreme Unction, Anne
    Marie Herman, widow of the late Sebastian Laubacher, who was
    living in Veckersviller, aged four score and five [85]
    years. The corpse was buried in the cemetery of this parish
    on the twenty-ninth of this month in the presence of Jean Guillaum,
    carter in Veckersviller, son of the deceased, and of Jean Nicolas
    Untereiner, laborer in Veckersviller, who both signed with me [N Theis, priest]"
