  	"As we were preparing to go to press the sad news came to us of the death of Joseph J. Streb, father of post-master Streb. While assisting his neighbor, Mr. Schneider, who is building a barn, Mr. Streb fell backward about 4 feet, striking his head on a piece of timber, which raised a small lump; he was stunned by the fall, but with the assistance of stimulants, soon revived, got in his buggy and drove home. This occurred at 6 o'clock; at 10 that night Mr. Streb died, aged 53 years, 4 months, and 4 days; he was born and raised in Tuscarawas county. -- Dover News, Apr. 27." [10]
