  Notes	Returned to Wales from exile in Ireland to fight the Normans in 1113. Married Gwenillian, daughter of Griffith ap Cynan, King of Gwynedd, in 1116. Gwenillian was killed leading her husband's army in an attack on the Norman castle at Kidwelly in 1136; the spot where she fell is named Maes Gwenillian in her honor. GRIFFITH continued the rebellion against the Normans. Their sons were Merideth, Morgan, and RHYS.
