Louis Perrolaz b. 13 Jun 1697 and bap. 14 Jun 1697 in Magland, son of Jean Claude Perrolaz and Anne Arbley.
François Perrola b.and bap. 3 Mar 1698 in Magland, son of Andre Perrola and George Perrola.
Louis Perrolaz b. and bap. 7 May 1698 in Magland, son of Jacque Perrolaz and Michere Perret.
Searched Magland registry, 1699, 1701-1703; no other good possibilities found (1700 is missing, as are records after 1703 till 1711).
The last is possibly the correct record, resulting in an age that matches the death record and a high likelihood of the consanguinity noted on the marriage record of Marin Joseph Perrollaz with Anne Marie Arbley. The consanguinity can be investigated across all three of these baptisms, though gaps in the Magland registries may make it impossible to confirm.
Regarding the first baptism listed, no other children found for this couple in Magland registries, 1683-1699; no marriage found 1683-1689 (marriages missing for 1690 and later).
Regarding the last baptism listed, other children of the couple:
None found in 1680.

Ludwick was a man of great physical strength and retained all of his teeth until his death, and his eyesight was little impaired by age. He was able to take a sack of grain in his teeth and throw it over his shoulder. He is said to have lived to be over a hundred years old. After the death of his first wife Barbara he married a second time, his wife's name being Philbena, or sometimes shortened to Phoebe. She was the mother of the last seven or eight children.
Ludwick's farm lay about a mile west of Madley, PA on Wolf Camp Run. He had a tannery and still on this property, and erected one of the first mills in that part of the country.
Tradition has it that one morning Ludwick had been sowing oats and came home from the field for the noon day meal. He laid down for a few minutes' rest and peacefully passed away.
Ludwick's will was signed Feb 20, 1827 and probated Aug 17, 1827. In it he mentions his wife Philabena. At that time most of his older children had moved to Ohio. | Lybarger, Ludwick (I2893)

Luther Danielson was the son of John Danielson and Ruth Blodgett, and the husband of Katy Rich. Along with his father and five brothers he served in the American Revolution. Luther fought at the important Battle of Saratoga. In 1787 Luther was an army lieutenant who fought against the rebels in Shay's Rebellion.
Luther was still living in Brimfield, Hampshire Co, MA, in 1800. Sometime before 1813 he moved his family to Ohio. First they lived in Athens County and then by 1820 they were living in Sutton, Meigs County, Ohio.
In the early 1830's Luther's brothers and cousins all legally changed the family surname from 'Danielson' to 'Donaldson,' believing 'Donaldson' to be the original family name back in 1600's Scotland. Luther, who was nearly eighty by this time and living in Ohio, was almost the only hold-out who retained the old 'Danielson' name. | Danielson, Luther (I1113)
