    of Grauft[hal]

    Today, August 10th of the year one thousand seven hundred ninety
    with the family having made proclamations in the church where I am the pastor, and all
    [the next passage contains many words that do not translate;
    it seems to relate to a person called D. Blasius taking a confession on the 8th of the same month as the marriage;
    later the bride's parents are said to be Lutheran so this is likely a notation that she converted to Catholicism prior to the marriage]
    [resuming at line 6]and no violations of canon law in the facts, and without finding
    impediments other than as noted, I, the undersigned Most Reverend priest of the parish
    received last Sunday the changed confession [conversion?],
    in the church performed the sacrament of Marriage between Ludwig
    Laubacher son of Jacob Laubacher resident, and the late
    Salome Kohr who were married in Graufthal, where they lived; and
    Anna Eva Wolff, [illegible] confessed, daughter of Daniel Wolff
    the miller and Catharine Decker the Lutherans who were married in Amtzinähl
    district in our parish where they live. Witnesses to the event are Jacob
    Laubacher the groom's father; Sebastian Anstedt the groom's tutor; Jacob
    Strebling a Lieutenant in the national guard;
    and Johannes Boxler a linen weaver all of Graufthal, they came
    before me and signed below except the bride and the father of the groom, they
    cannot write and I took their declarations and wrote their names below,
    I so swear.
