    between Michel Henrich, young man of Perche [NOTE No such village exists today] in Alsace, the first party, and Christienne
    Pfieffer, daughter of Jean Adam Pfieffer and of Magdelaine Lehmann, the other [party], residents of
    Veckersviller, without there having been found opposition, I received of the two the
    promise to marry, and with the customary ceremonies, their marriage was celebrated
    in my parish church in the presence of Pier Pieret and of Sebastian Zieger,
    resident of the same place, who signed the original."
