Gender |
Male |
Notes |
- After his father, Capt John Ayers, was killed in the siege of Brookfield on 2 Aug 1675, he took his mother and family back to Ipswich. Possibly moved to Boston where an Abigail Ayres died aged 27 in 1678. John had a child b. __ Sep 1677 in Ipswich, then two daughters in the 1680s (one d. within days). Seems to have married 2nd Mary Woodman of Ipswich but the date is unclear. One source has him d. 1691 in Ipswich, others 1711 in Boston, age 62.
