inhumé dans le cemetier de cette eglisse le trente du dit mois en
presence de Michel Gueringer me masion et de Triem Veber me
charon tous deux habitans de Veckersviller qui ont signé avec nous

[main body]The year one thousand seven hundred four score [1780], the twenty-ninth December between
five and six o'clock in the morning, died strengthened by the sacrements of
penitence, Eucharist and extreme unction Mathias Untereiner, master
cooper of Veckersviller, aged thirty-three years. His corpse was
buried in the cemetery of this church the thirtieth of the month in
the presence of Michel Gueringer master mason and of [illegible] Weber master

three Sundays successively in the church of Veckersviller
without opposition, after celebrating the engagement on the
sixteenth, and after getting their mutual consent
to the solemnization of Marriage before the whole church,
these two have received the nuptial blessing: Mathias Untereiner,
son legitimately of the late Jean Jaque Untereiner, laborer
and resident of this place, and of Christine Strasler, daughter legitimately
of Pierre Strasler, weaver and resident of this place, and
Odille Schwartz. With the consent of her father and mother,
before me, the head priest of this place, signed in the presence
of said Pierre Strassler and Michel Gueringer, turner
and resident of this place, and Martin Lehman, mayor of
this place, and Jean George Müller, cantor of Metting,
who all signed this document in my presence" |
